When to Walk Away

Sometimes it's hard to know when to walk away. I love a challenge, but some shears (like the one in the video below) may end up costing you more to do in time than they are worth in income. If you want to tackle something like this for a good customer or just to do as a learning experience, buy all means, go for it. Just make sure, like a mention in the video, to communicate well with your customer before you attempt a repair so they understand the risks. If the sharpener that sent these to me talks to his customer and I end up getting this shear back, I'll do a write up on the repair.
